Rahul to kick start poll campaign in Assam today

Ahead of the coming Lok Sabha Elections, Congress President Rahul Gandhi will visit Assam on Tuesday and kick-start his campaign in the State. He will arrive at LGBI Airport at around 12:30 PM.

Rahul is likely visit Apollo Hospital in Guwahati to meet two patients, who sustained injuries during Arunachal Pradesh violence. He will address a poll rally at Khanapara veterinary field in Guwahati and will also hold a discussion with the Northeast Congress Coordination Committee at Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra.

"We are expecting around 1 lakh people from the different districts of the state for this rally," said APCC President, Ripun Bora.

12:30 PM: Arrival at Guwahati Airport

12:35 PM-13:00 PM: Reserve at VIP lounge, Airport

13:00 PM-13:30 PM: By Road: Airport to Public Meeting Venue at Veterinary field, Khanapara

13:30 PM-15:30 PM: Public Meeting

15:30 PM-16:15 PM: Reserve

16:15 PM-17:45 PM: NECCC meeting

17:45 PM-18:30 PM: Interaction with North-East DCC & BCC Presidents
