Assam BJP president Ranjeet Kumar Dass on Friday claimed that his party and the alliance will win all the 14 Lok Sabha seats in Assam. Addressing the media in Guwahati, Dass said, "BJP and the alliance will be able to win all the five seats in the first phase of elections."

Attacking Rahul Gandhi and the Congress, Dass said, "BJP believes in democracy, whereas Congress believes in nepotism." He also said that Rahul Gandhi is not aware of the Assamese culture heritage.

He further alleged the Congress and AIUDF of a secret understanding for the Lok Sabha Elections saying, "Due to the secret understanding AIUDF has not fielded any candidate in Tezpur, Nagaon and Kaliabor."
