In a road mishap on Monday morning at Rajabari area of Bokakhat in Assam's Golaghat district, a youth identified as Ankur Das died on the spot when a speeding mini truck that skidded off the NH-37 and hit him along with three more bystanders.

The truck, bearing the registration number AL-01-Q9235, also damaged a few roadside shops.

The locals immediately nabbed the truck driver after the incident and he, along with the truck, was handed over to the police
