Rs. 49.98 lakh recovered from two women at Lumding railway station

TheGovernment Railway Police (GRP) seized a huge amount of cash from Lumding railwaystation on Thursday night. The cash valued around Rs. 49.98 lakh have beenseized from two women, who were travelling by Guwahati-Dimapur BG Express.

Both the women were identified as Arati Halder and Gayatri Halder. According to GRP, , the women brought the money from Guwahati to Bokajan. Meanwhile, registering a case the Lumding GRP initiated an investigation to the recovery of the money.

During interrogation, the women have stated that they were bringing the money for one named Abdul of Bokajan.
