Congress MLARupjyoti Kurmi staged protest on the ongoing session of the Assam Assemblysession by writing the various problems of the state with blood.

During theongoing session of the assembly, the Congress MLA sits outside the assembly toprotest against various issues of the state and has written the issues withblood by cutting his hand.

Kurmi staged protest against the closure of Nagaon and Cachar paper mills and Namrup Fertilizer plant. He said, "With the closure of these industries, thousands of employees have lost their livelihood. So these industries need to be revived in order to provide employment to the people."

He also saidthat if necessary they will also shed blood and today is the beginning that hehas protested by writing with blood.

He has alsowritten 'Jai Aai Asom' with blood.
