SBI Account Hacked, Man Loses Rs. 6.54 Lakhs

With cases of bank account hacking on the rise, another person in Sivasagar has been looted of Rs. 6.54 lakhs as his State Bank of India (SBI) account has been hacked by miscreants.

The account holder is currently holding an account at the SBI Sepangoni branch in Sivasagar and this is the second case of account hacking in the district.

The customer is aRetd. Army jawan Subrat Ali and a huge amount have been looted from hisaccount.

Ali lodged an FIRat Amguri police station and demanded an investigation into the incident to theDirector of the branch.

A case has beenregistered under 196/19 and police have started the investigation into theincident.
