Silchar Child Rescued at Beharbari

Police rescued a child at Beharbari in Guwahati on Monday morning who said himself to be from Silchar. Basistha Police rescued the 3-year child from the traffic point at Beharbari after the locals informed about the loitering of the unknown child here and there.

However, thepolice informed that the child said himself to be as Deep Sinha and said thathe hails from Silchar in Assam. "The child said himself to be from Silchar buthe has not been able to say as to where from Silchar does he belong. We areinvestigating into the matter and tried to find out how he reached Guwahati. Wehave asked the parents to come and take the child from our police station whereverthey are," said Basistha police.
