SNBC: Sindhu vs Saina face off in finals today

Ace Indian shuttlers, PV Sindhu and Saina Nehwal will face each other today in the final of women's single of 83rd Senior National Badminton Championships in Guwahati after Saina defeated Vaishnavi Bhale by 21-15, 21-14 sets in the second semi final.

In mixed doubled pair of Rohan Kapoor and Kuhoo Garg will take on Manu Attri and Maneesha K. In Men's doubles pair of Arjun M.R and Shlok Ramchandran will take on Pranaav Jerry Chopra and Chirag Shetty. In Women's doubles, Meghana Jakkampudi and Poorvisha S. Ram  will take on Shikha Gautam and Ashwini Bhat K. in the final face off

Earlier, top seeded PV Sindhu sailed into the finals by defeating Assam's wonderkid Ashmita Chaliha in 21-10, 22-20 sets. In the final, Saina will aim for her fourth title and Sindhu will try to lay her hands on the trophy after earlier triumphs in 2011 and 2013.

On the other hand, Sourabh Verma will face Lakshya Sen in men's singles final. Sourabh Verma defeated Kaushal Dharmamer by 21-14, 21-17 sets and Lakshya Sen defeated third seed Parupalli Kashyap in 21-15, 21-16 sets in their respective semi-finals.
