In a shocking incident, a man brutally murdered his own mother which has now led to a tense situation at Dah Parvatiya in Tezpur, Assam.

The son, Dhruva Bora, attacked his own mother Sarumai Bora with a billhook (Dao) and killed her at their home. The reason for the murder is still unknown.

Bora later threw the dead body at the well situated in his home. An outraged mob attacked his house and also hurled a few blows at him for the heinous crime.

Bora was taken away from the angry mob to the police station where he confessed to the brutal killing and revealed where he had thrown away the dead body.

The body has been sent for postmortem while police awaits further details before starting investigation.
