Sonapur Police on Sunday arrested a youth carrying two pistols and 21 rounds of cartridges from his possession from Damarpathar.

According to police sources, Abdul Zalil (26) hailing from Kachuwa in Nagaon district, was apprehended when he was hiding inside a brick chamber while planning for robberies.

A police investigation is underway.
