Sonari MLA Nabanita Handique Tests COVID+

Sonari MLA Nabanita Handique has tested positive for COVID-19 on Sunday.

It is to be noted that just a couple of days ago, her son Karanjyoti Handique was found to be carrying the contagion. His matter came to light after the MLA's driver and a close aide tested positive for the contagion.

Many politicians, public representatives and high-level government employees of Assam have tested positive for the virus so far.

Just yesterday, the DC of Tinsukia Bhaskar Pegu and GMCH Superintendent Abhijit Sharma had tested positive for COVID-19.
