In anunfortunate incident, a speeding car rammed a child in Chaygaon's Sampuparathis morning.

Accordingto reports, the speeding vehicle, a Maruti Celerio after hitting the child wenton to crash into a pharmacy. However, the driver fled the site after theaccident.

The child,identified as Rahul Amin (5 years) died on the spot.

Followingthe incident, outraged locals attacked the vehicle damaging it. It may be noted thatthe Celerio had no registration number plate on it.
