St. Mary’s Guwahati shines in HSLC

With the HSLC results declared today, 39 candidates have been able to secure a place within the 10 ranks and the Christian missionary schools of Assam dominated the results tally capturing nine out of ten ranks and 16 of the 39 overall rank holders.

In Kamrup(M), out of the missionary schools, St. Mary's Higher Secondary School,Guwahati has been able to showcase bright results. The school has been able tosecure three top positions.

Pratyasha Medhi secured the 2nd Rank with 593 marks,
Anushree Bhuyan secured 3rd Rank with 591 marks
Christie Saikia with 590 clinched the 4th position.

Theschool had been performing really well in the bygone years. In 2018, SermonCaisar, had secured the 9th Rank with 585 marks, while the schoolhad no rank holders in the year 2017. In 2016, there were six students whosecured ranks in the HSLC exams. Securing 6th Rank RajashreeParashar scored 582 marks, in the 8th stood Nayanika Duwara with 579,Priyakshi Goswami clinched 9th with 577 marks, Srestha Medhi stoodat the 10th with 576, another 10th secured by TandraliChoudhury with 576 and also Upasa Bora with 576 marks stood at 10th.
