Pratidin Bureau

The massive outrage that had been triggered due to controversial remarks made against ULFA (Pro-Talks) leaders Mrinal Hazarika and Pranab Neog has landed Udalguri Bengali Organisation's leader in deep trouble.

Pertaining to the issue, Udalguri SP Rajveer said that strict action will be taken against those involved in making provocative statements, which can hinder the proper functioning of law and order.

BTC Bengali Yuva Chatra Federation's President Sujit Sarkar's provocative statement had enraged many party and organisations.

Various organisations along with AASU Udalguri unit have filed complaint against Sarkar and BTC Selection Board's member Shyamal Sarkar.

It may be noted that Sujit Sarkar is still absconding.
