Tajia Violence | Accused released on bail

The Dibrugarh CJM court hasgranted bail to the accused in the violence during Tajia rally in Dibrugarh. 

TheDibrugarh police had arrested two persons under several charges of the IndianPenal Code (IPC) in connection with the incidents of vandalism during Moharamprocession in Assam's Dibrugarh town on Tuesday.

Theaccused were Furkan Hussain and Javed Akhtar Khan Alias Azad Khan.

Tensed situationerupted in Dibrugarh town after a group of people gheraoed the Dibrugarh PoliceStation on Thursday afternoon demanding instant release of the accused.

Theaccused were released on a bail bond of Rs 20,000 (Each).
