Former Chief Minister of Assam Tarun Gogoi on Monday moved New Delhi and will meet Congress President Sonia Gandhi over the change in leadership of the Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC).

Tarun Gogoi reached 10 Janpath today to discuss the change in leadership.

It may be mentioned that Gogoi earlier said that he is ready to become the President of APCC adding that if he would be given the responsibility, he is ready to hold the position and that he has the self-confidence to defeat BJP.

However,APCC President Ripun Bora while reacting to Gogoi's statement of becoming partypresident said that he doesn't have any problem if Gogoi becomes the President.
