Tarun Gogoi’s Last Rites to be Performed on Nov 26

Tarun Gogoi's mortal remains will be taken to his government residence today where his followers will pay last tribute to the former chief minister.

The mortal remains will then be taken to Rajiv Bhawan and Kalakshetra for last tribute.

The last rites of Gogoi will be performed on Thursday with full state honours informed Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) president Ripun Bora.

Governor Jagadish Mukhi condoled the death of the former chief minister.

All the party works have been cancelled for the next three days. The Chief Minister of Assam Sarbananda Sonowal also declared three-days state mourning in the state.
