In anutter inhuman incident, a teenage girl was allegedly raped in Muktapur areaunder Baihata Chariali region of Kamrup (R) district on Sunday. The girl withserious injuries shifted to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) forfurther treatment.

Meanwhile,Police initiated an investigation to the brutal incident and detained therapist involved in the incident. The accused has been identified as DhanjitDas.

Thelocals demanded strict actions against the culprit.
