A tensed situation prevailed in Khandikar area under Rangia after Police and Security Forces recovered explosives from a house in the area on Sunday morning.
According to reports, thePolice and Security Forces launched a joint operation and recovered a bomb fromone Tariful Ali's house this morning. However, family members of Tariful saidthat they had no clue about the presence of any explosives in their house.
On the other hand, locals inthe area created a tensed situation, when police tried to arrest Tariful inconnection with the recovery. They alleged, "It is a pre-planned drama by thepolice."
"We have known Tariful foryears and it is not possible that he could involve in such activities," said alocal. They also staged dharma at the spot.
Meanwhile, more police andsecurity personnel were deployed at the spot to control any untoward situation.
