Continuing the ongoing agitation against the contentious Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, the KMSS-led 70 organisations on Sunday staged massive protest at Panitola area in Tinsukia district. The protest saw the participation of people from various indigenous communities.

Addressing the gathering, the general secretary of AJYCP, Palash Changmai compared Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal with Lora Roja. He also urged people of all class and sections of the society to protest against the Bill.

On the other hand, KMSS leader Akhil Gogoi during his speech thrashed BJP led government in the State. "Himanta always utters lies to mislead or confuse the people of Assam. He is the most corrupt person of Assam and we have already proved it," said Gogoi.

Voicing against the Central government for pushing the CAB, the KMSS leader also said, "If India does not respect us and if situation compels us, we will bound get separated from India," said the leader."
