Three poachers were apprehended in Baksa's Hapachar area on Monday.

In a joint operation led by Baksa police, forest department, and SSB, the three poachers Lankeshwar Basumatary, Binod Basumatary, and Madan Goiary were arrested.

Two ivory tusks of elephants and teeth and horns of deer were recovered.

Furthermore, handmade guns and bullets were seized too.
