Tinsukia Robbery: Police Apprehended Two Persons

Tinsukia police have apprehended one person in connection to the robbery case of Mahabir Cold Storage Private Limited in Tinsukia that took place on July 17.

The person has been identified as Padmajyoti Gohain of Guijan NotunGaon area of Tinsukia.

Two unidentified miscreants have looted Rs. 10lakh by keeping the employees of the business organization at gunpoint while one employee had absconded by taking away Rs. 12,500.

The police, however, have apprehended the miscreants after they havebeen identified in the CCTV footage.

On the other hand, police have also apprehended another youth named Khagen Neog who was involved in the robbery case of Makum Motors Petrol Pump in Tinsukia. Robbers looted Rs. 2lakh 35 thousand from the employees of the petrol pump by keeping them in the gunpoint. Police arrested the youth from 8 No Guijan area of Tinsukia.
