Trains cancelled as flood situation remains grave

The flood situation in Assam has forced the railwayauthority to control train services. Several trains have been cancelled andothers rescheduled on Sunday due to the ongoing landslide and incessantrainfall witnessed in some of the districts in Assam.

The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has cancelled atotal of 9 upward and downward trains. The Rajdhani Express will arrive inRangia from Dibrugarh via Bogibeel Bridge.

It may be mentioned here that several trains were stopped in Lumding and Hojai due to the floods in the Dhansiri River.
