Twist in Morigaon robbery case!

In ashocking turn of events, the Morigaon police arrested the complainants, whoregistered a case of alleged robbery at Dharamtul PS on Wednesday night. The policealso arrested three CRPF jawans from Na-Mile area near Guwahati in connectionwith the same case.

The arrestedcomplainants were identified as Nur Mohammad and Yaruf Hussain. According topolice, it was not a robbery case. "The complainants falsely attributed thecase of business rivalry as robbery," said a police official. The police alsorecovered Rs. 3 lakhs in cash from one of the complainants' residence on Thursday.

On theother hand, the police arrested three CRPF personnel in connection with thesame case. The CRPF jawans were used by the businessman to allegedly threatenhis business competitors. The arrested CRPF jawans were identified as MintuKumar, Asif Nawaz and Jiyaur Rahman. Another CRPF jawan is still absconding. TheCRPF jawans were earlier involved in another robbery case registered in Jorabatarea.
