Two peoplewere killed and several others sustained serious injuries when an oil-tankercollided head-on with a bus at Kanchanjuri area under Koliabor on Wednesday afternoon.

Accordingto reports, more than 40 passengers with injuries have been admitted to ahospital. The bus was on its way to Jorhat from Guwahati and the tanker washeading towards Nagaon.

The Police were informed immediately after the incident and the injured were rescued with the help of locals.
