Two Dead While Sowing Crops in Duliajan

Ina tragic incident, two women have died in Tengakhat in Duliajan while they wentto sow crops in the paddy fields. The incident took place at Chelengpur inTengakhat while both the sisters went to sow crops.

Whilesowing crops, the elder sister fell down in a large hole and the younger sisterwho went to rescue her elder sister has also fallen down into the hole anddied.

Thetwo sisters have been identified as Dipti Saikia and Smrita Kachari. Police rescuedthe bodies of the women and sent the body for post-mortem to Assam MedicalCollege and Hospital, Dibrugarh.
