The Hojai Police have detained two in connection withthe sensational firing incident that killed a youth in Hojai town on Wednesday evening.

The detainees have been identified as Gautam Sen andRajkumar Kumhar. Both were detained from their respective residences at CollegeRoad and Station Road respectively. Police are currently interrogating both ofthem.

One identified as Prasenjit Sen was shot dead on Wednesday evening. His family members alleged that he was brutally thrashed and later shot from point-blank range.
