Two Fire Incidents Reported in Assam Today

A massive fire broke out at Majuli on Friday morning. The fire occurred at one Mohan Pegu's house from a cylinder. Properties worth lakhs of rupees have been gutted in the fire.

Locals alleged that the fire tenders have not reached the spot even after repeated calls from the people.

They also alleged that the fire tenders said that they cannot go to the spot as the area is very narrow and that the vehicles cannot be entered into the area. However, the locals tried to douse the flame by spraying water.

On the other hand, two houses have been burnt down of the same family due to family clash at Kharupetia in Darrang district.

One bike, and properties worth lakhs of rupees have been gutted in the fire.

The clash erupted between Ibrahim Ali and Abdul Karim after which the house of Abdul Karim has been allegedly burnt down by Ibrahim Ali.
