Two held with illegal weapons in Amguri

Two men were arrested on Wednesday for illegal possession of weapons during a night drive conducted by units of the Army from Sivsagar.

The two, Krishna Sonowal and Hiren Sonowal were arrested in Amguri near the constituency's Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA ) Pradip Hazarika's house.

Krishna Sonowal hails from Golaghat Merapani, and Hiren Sonowal from Jorhat Borhola.
