In asensational incident, two people were killed, while another sustained seriousinjuries after a conflict that broke out under Borboruah Police Station inDibrugarh district on Wednesday night.
Accordingto reports, one identified as Tufan Ghatowar attacked another with a sharpweapon after exchange of words. The victim identified as Lal Bahadur Rabi Dasdied on the spot immediately after the attack. Tufan also attacked a girl withthe sharp weapon. Later, locals thrashed Tufan to death.
The incidenttook place near Lepetkota Puja field under Borboruah Police Station.
Meanwhile,the injured has been rushed to a hospital. The reason behind the incident isyet to be ascertained.
