Two ULFA linkmen arrested

Two ULFA-I linkmen involved in the killing of OC Bhaskar Kalita have been arrested in Tinsukia. The two linkmen have been identified as Satyajit Moran and Mamon Dihingia. The two linkmen were wanted in killing of OC Bhaskar Kalita of Bordumsa Police Station. Bhaskar kalita  was killed in an encounter with the ULFA-I militants.

After a four day operation the two linkmen were nabbed from Pangeri-Bordumsa area.

Both the linkmen are known to be close aides of ULFA-I leader Rudra Baruah alias Jaan Asom. Police also seized two mobile phones from them.

The operation was led by Tinsukia Additional Superintendent of Police Prakash Sonowal, Deputy Superintendent of Police Bhargav Goswami and Officer-in-charge Pratim Gogoi. Both the linkmen are being interrogated by Tinsukia Police.
