Assam Rifles on Tuesday arrested two women in Hailakandi district with possession of unpolished diamond of 1667 gram worth Rs 10 crore.

The arrested women have been identified as Monia Sangma and Minati Sangma.

During interrogation, Monia told Assam Rifles that the diamonds were given to her by her cousin who works in a coal mine in Meghalaya.
