U-17 Women’s WC: FIFA team to visit Guwahati

As Guwahati is gearing up to host the upcoming FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup 2020, a FIFA delegation will visit the city for stadium inspection in the last week of November.

According to reports, the FIFATournaments and Events division led by Oliver Vogt will be visiting the countrybetween November 26 and December 1, during which the team will make theinspections of five stadiums.

The FIFA delegation willmake the inspection in Kolkata (November 27), Guwahati (November 28),Bhubaneswar (November 29), Ahmedabad (November 30) and Navi Mumbai (December1). The FIFA and Local Organising Committee (LOC) delegation will inspect eachstadium and all the designated training sites in each city to evaluate theprogress made towards the preparation for the major tournament.

The FIFA U-17 Women'sWorld Cup 2020 will be held in India from November 2 to November 21.
