ULFA-I cadre surrenders in Golaghat

In yetanother blow to the United Liberation Front of Assam-Independent (ULFA-I), acadre identified as Numal Sara alias Simanta Asom, surrendered before thePolice in Golaghat on Friday.

The surrendered cadre hails from Nakkati village in Dergaon area under Golaghat district. Numal joined the banned militant outfit in 2011 and trained in Myanmar.

Meanwhile, police informed that the interrogation is currently underway.
