Golaghat Police conducted search operation and apprehended one wanted linkman of the ULFA-I on Sunday.

Police said that the wanted ULFA-I linkman had been identified as Papu Sarma.

A mobile phone was recovered from his possession.

The linkman cooperated ULFA-I in member joining – As per reports.

It may be mentioned that, Assam police and military forces have been taking stern action against militant outfits in the state after Panbazar bomb blast.
