In a sensational incident, an unidentified body of a man (40) was recovered in Azara area, outskirt of Guwahati on Saturday afternoon. The body was found lying near a pond in Deuripara area.

Police reached the spot to inspect after locals informed them about the body.

"We are investigating the case. There was no paper ordocuments recovered from the possession of the deceased," said a policeofficial.

The official further said whether it was a case ofmurder would be established only after the autopsy is done.
