What did Atul Bora say after patch up?

Pratidin Bureau

Two months after breaking away from the BJP-led alliance government in Assam, finally the regional party Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) has decided to contest the coming Lok Sabha Election together with BJP.

"On the request of CM Sarbananda Sonowal, we have come back to ministry. As there is no CAB, we will resolve the issue with further discussions. We will chair a meeting with BJP President Amit Shah on March 16. This alliance was necessary in order to wipe out the Congress in Assam"- AGP President Atul Borah said on Wednesday after a marathon discussion with BJP senior leadership.

The decision of AGP-BJP coalition was announced by BJP National General Secretary Ram Madhav in Guwahati on Tuesday night in presence of AGP president Atul Bora, AGP working president Keshab Mahanta and Assam minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
