A womansuffered life-threatening injuries after being hit by a Silchar-Guwahati train atChandmari area in Guwahati on Friday evening.

According to eye witnesses, the woman was trying to get down from the moving train in Chandmari railway crossing area, when she was hit. The woman was identified to be Nandita Saha.

Meanwhile, she was admitted to the GMCH for treatment. Nandita was alert when she was taken by ambulance to the hospital, informed sources.
