Wood smuggling truck seized in Amingaon

After Supari, Coal and Oil syndicates, Wood syndicate has been growing up in Assam now a days.

As per reports, on Sunday night, Sila regional Forest Department has beenseized a truck (RJ-10-GB-1833) loaded with Teak wood, worth of more than Rs 20 lakhs inAmingaon.

It may be alleged that the wood smuggling trucks regularly use to smuggle the valuable woods to Arunachal, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Rajasthan and many more states via Kamrup district, but the trucks use to pass easily by managing the department on the exchange of huge amount of money.

Although the forest officials have been seized the truck, but they have refused to give any statement to media in this regard, which makes sensation among the public.
