Five people have been arrested in connection with the sensational murder of a political leader, Kamlesh Tiwari, in Uttar Pradesh. Tiwari, a leader of Hindu Samaj Party (HSP), was brutally murdered at his residence in Lucknow last Friday.

Accordingto reports, three have been arrested in Gujarat, while two others were arrestedfrom Bijnor area in UP. Tiwari's wife has named the duo arrested from Bijnor inher FIR. Meanwhile, two other accused, those believed to have carried out theattack, are still on the run.

TheUP police chief said that one of the accused called for the murder of Tiwariafter he made some allegedly objectionable remarks against Prophet Muhammad.
