Amit Shah Takes Up J&K Reorganisation Bill in LS

Union Home Minister Amit Shah takes up the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganization bill and resolution to scrap Article 370 of the Constitution in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday.

Shah while takes up thebill said that in order to bring new laws and provisions in Jammu and Kashmir,no one can stop the government. "When I speak of Jammu and Kashmir, I alsoinclude Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK). Don't you consider PoK to be part ofIndia?," asked Shah.

Moreover, restrictionsremain in force in the state for the second consecutive day on Tuesday, whileall government and private schools also remained shut, amid imposition ofSection 144 of CrPC.

All private andgovernment schools remain closed today as a preventive measure till furtherdirectives, as per the order issued by the Deputy Commissioners of differentditricts including Jammu, Kathua, Samba, Poonch, Doda, Rajouri, Udhampur.

Mobile and internetservice has also been snapped in the region, while restrictions are imposed asprecautionary measure.

Also, the examinationsof schools and universities have also been postponed in the state till furtherorders and fresh dates will be announced later.
