Article 370: Jammu remains under restrictions for third consecutive day

Amid imposition of Section 144 as a preventive measure in the wake of Article 370 row, restrictions remain in force for the third consecutive day in the Jammu Division of Jammu and Kashmir.

According to reports, all private and government schools had been closed for the third day today as preventive measure till further notice. Simultaneously, all examinations of different schools and University of Jammu have also been postponed until further orders.

As per official sources army and around 40 companies of CRPF have been deployed in all districts of the Jammu region 

However, locals were seen going to work in private vehicles as public Transport remained off the roads.

Meanwhile, more than 100 people, including political leaders and activists. Among those arrested include former chief ministers Mehbooba Mufti and Omar Abdullah, People's Conference leaders Sajjad Lone and Imran Ansari had been arrested by security agencies.
