BREAKING | Blast At Jammu Bus Stand, around 18 injured

Amid ongoing tensions and terror attacks at the bordering areas of Jammu and Kashmir, another blast has jolted Jammu this afternoon. An explosion, suspected to be a grenade blast, has taken place inside a bus at the Jammu bus station.

According to reports, around 18 people have been injured in the explosion. Officials said that the injured are bus drivers and conductors. The injured have been taken to the Government Medical College for treatment.

Police have cordoned off the area.

Speaking to the media, a police officer said, "The police is working on all the leads. We are collecting evidence and we will hunt them down".

"I thought it was a tyre burst. it was a big blast", said an eyewitness.
