Building collapses in Solan, Jawans trapped

In a tragic incident, a three-storey hotel in Himachal Pradesh's Solan collapsed on Sunday afternoon due to heavy rains.

According to reports, more than 30 people including Indian Army personnel were feared stuck under the debris of the guest house building. A total of ten people have been rescued till now.

Army personnel reportedly stopped at the hotel to have lunch. The incident took place in Solan. After the incident, authorities immediately rushed to the spot.

Director cum Special Secretary Revenue and Disaster Management DC Rana, said, "total 25 persons were on the spot. It is raining heavily. NDRF team from Panchkula moving." More details are still awaited.
