Ceasefire violation in Jammu and Kashmir | Pakistan resorts to shelling

Pakistani troops have resorted to heavy mortar shelling and firing along the international border in Jammu and Kashmir on Monday in another incident of ceasefire violation. The incident took place at Arnia and RS Pura sectors.

BSF informed that Pakistani troops started firing and shelling on Indian positions and civilian areas at around 7:00 am on Monday, to which the Indian forces retaliated.

According to reports, around 10 border outposts and village are being targeted by the Pakistani forces.

Schools in the area have been closed till further orders.

Six civilians were injured in the shelling. No casualties have been reported so far.
