Delhi: At least Two Killed in Building Collapse

At least two peoplewere killed and three others injured after a four-storey building collapsed inDelhi on Monday night.

According to DelhiPolice, two died and three injured in collapse of an under constructionbuilding in Seelampur area of North-East Delhi. Reports said that firedepartment got a call about the incident at around 11.29 pm on Monday.

After the incidenthas been reported, six fire tenders immediately rushed to the spot, accordingto a senior Delhi Fire official. According to eye witness, the buildingcollapses while some people were attending an event organized by a localresident on the ground floor. The injured were rushed to the hospital.

However, rescueofficials said that several persons are feared trapped in the debris at thesite of the incident and that six people have been rescued so far and therescue operations are underway.

Meanwhile, another incident was reported from Andhra Pradesh on Monday where two people died after a wall of an under-construction building collapsed in Visakhapatnam.
