Delhites to get free electricity up to 200 units: Kejriwal

Announcing that Delhites will avail the cheapest electricity in the country, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that consumers consuming up to 200 units of electricity will not have to pay their power bills.

Kejriwal told media that the Delhi government will give full subsidy to those consuming up to 200 units of electricity and added that the state government will continue to give 50 percent power subsidy to those consuming 201 to 401 units of electricity.

Further, The CM stated that earlier for 250 units people in the national capital had to pay 800 rupees but now they will pay 252 rupees. For 300 units, they paid 971 rupees but now it will be 526 rupees. For 400 units, it will be 1075 rupees instead of 1320 rupees.
