Fire breaks out at AIIMS in Delhi

A fire broke out on the first and second floor of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi on Saturday evening.

The fire reportedly broke out near the emergency ward of the hospital and patients and staff from one building have been evacuated, but the smoke has spread to the second floor.

It may be stated that former Union minister Arun Jaitley is undergoing treatment at the hospital since August 9, but he is admitted in the Intensive Care Unit is at a safe distance from the building on fire.
