Howrah-New Delhi Poorva Express derails near Kanpur

Injuring around 14 people, twelve coaches of the Howrah-New Delhi Poorva Express derailed near Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh early morning today. The incident occurred near Rooma railway station in Kanpur Nagar district at around 1 am.

According to railway officials, the injured have been admitted to a hospital in Kanpur and no causality has been reported in the accident.

Pertaining to the accident, 13 trains have been diverted and one train has been cancelled.

As soon as the Accident Relief Train and Accident Relief Medical Equipment reached the site all the passengers have been evacuated immediately.
