IAF pilot Abhinandan will be released at 4PM

Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Friday said that Ahinandan Varthaman will be released this afternoon through Wagah. Pakistan on Wednesday captured Indian Air Force (IAF) wing commander Abhinandan.

The IAF pilot has been handed over to the Indian High Commission in Islamabad a while ago and he will cross Attari-Wagah joint check-post at around 4 PM on Friday. A team of IAF arrived at Wagah border check-post to receive Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman.

Meanwhile, security tightened at the Wagah border to control the increasing number of people gathering there to welcome IAF pilot Abhinandan.
